Ordering
Information The
easiest and fastest way to place an order is on line. You may also place an
order via phone, fax or
regular mail. If you chose the phone option please have Top-Hats.com
displayed for easy discussion. When placing an order, you will need to know the Style
Number and Style Name, Color and Size of the items you wish to order, along with
any special trim instructions and the desired delivery date. Please also provide
payment information and the name and phone number of a contact we can reach
should questions arise. Terms of
Payment New customers: Pre-payment accepted by check or money orders, American Express, MasterCard, Visa. Sorry, we cannot make any exceptions. Open
Account:
Open account status will be granted to approved accounts. Terms for open account
are NET 30 from day of shipment. All
customers have the option of prepayment, payment with American Express,
MasterCard, Visa or C.O.D. shipping. All C.O.D. shipments are payable by Money
Order Only. Returned
Check Policy There
is a $25.00 charge for returned checks and no further orders will be accepted
until payment is received in full. If full payment is not received within 15
days, the account will be submitted for collection. Accounts submitted for collection are subject to additional
late charges and attorneys' fees or collection fees. Overdue
Accounts If
payment is not received by the due date, a statement including service charges
will be mailed. If necessary, a second statement with additional service charges
will be mailed 15 days later. If full payment is not received within 10 days of
the second statement, your account will be submitted for collection.
Accounts submitted to collection are subject to additional late charges
and attorneys' fees or collection fees. No
further orders are accepted on open accounts pending collection. Shipping All
orders will be shipped United Parcel Service ground unless otherwise specified.
Please specify if the address to ship to is commercial or residential.
Alternative carriers are available upon request and may result in additional
charges or billing. The shipping costs on line are structured for within the continental United States. Shipments to any other location will be priced in line with selected couriers published rates and restrictions. The shopping cart program does not calculate shipping costs outside of the United States or multiple hat orders correctly. All of these orders will be calculated manually and the purchaser will be notified via e-mail for approval before the order is process. We are sorry for this inconvenience, a software fix is being developed. International shipments: We do ship internationally using the postal service. We have found the major carriers to be quite expensive compared to the postal service. The order form does accept international address with some restrictions. If you are not comfortable using the form fields simply use the default values and enter you properly formatted address in the comments field, the last field of the shopping cart form. Returns Any
merchandise that was custom made, made to the customers
specifications, order for rush delivery or has been worn
is not returnable. No items will be accepted for return due to color, we cannot
guarantee color match. No items will be accepted for return 20 days after shipment. All other returns are subject to a $15.00,
per item re-stocking fee
plus the original cost of shipping. If an item has been damaged during shipment
please contact us for instructions. We will attempt to have a replacement
delivered ASAP.
