A real beauty of a hat and very large also. the front of the brim is about 9 inches tall, the rear portion of the brim is about 11 inches tall and the hat is 22 inches wide from side to side. These dimensions are estimates and will vary depending on head size. The outside brim is covered with a heavy weight velvet and the edge of the brim has metallic gold. There is also a black satin cockade held down with a narrower gold metallic braid and a gold button. This style is available in the size range 6-7/8 through 7-3/4.
